Student to Olympia
Helena Renk traveled to Olympia where she had the opportunity to present her project on agricultural sustainability to various education and governmental stakeholders at the Pacific Education Institute's Student Sustainability Summit Tuesday evening. She and other select students from around the state were also invited to meet with state legislators from their schools' legislative districts. Due to the three different legislative districts that Riverside School District serves, Helena was the only student who got to meet with five different legislators from these districts.
